SARASOTA, Fla. — Blue Jays fans have spoken and guess what, they want cheap beer. The program will be called “Dugout Deals” and kicks in with the March 28 opener against the Detroit Tigers, continuing for every home game throughout the season. The beer will be limited to 12-ounce (355-ml) cans of Bud and Bud Light. Previously, fans have had to pay up to $12-$14 for a 16-20-ounce can of beer, depending on the brand. “Dugout Deals as well as Loonie Dogs Night, and our new ticketing packages — the Friday Night Freedom Bundle and Family Value Combo — provide our fans with more value at Rogers Centre so that there is something for everyone this Blue Jays season.”Other Dugout Deals items will include hot dogs and pretzels.
