Federal, provincial and municipal governments had to jointly approve the Jays’ application to host their summer training camp in Toronto. The club emphasized that while no decision has been made on a site for regular season home games, its preference is Rogers Centre. Toronto’s options are said to include playing their regular season games in Florida, perhaps in concert with the Tampa Bay Rays.
