Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson returned to the lineup Sunday after missing two games since jamming his thumb in an at-bat Wednesday at Yankee Stadium. The reigning AL MVP has now been out of the lineup for four games this season, matching the total number of games missed in each of the past three years. ON THE MEND: Centre fielder Kevin Pillar will be back in the Jays lineup on Tuesday after spending two games on a rehab option playing for Class-A Dunedin. He hurt his left thumb on a head-first slide into second base Aug. 7 at Kansas City. Bautista went on the DL with a sprained left knee and has been progressing through agility drills and light baseball activity.
