Nope, the Blue Jays’ Achilles heel this season has been the long road trip. There was the horror show in May, when the Jays went 2-7 through Cleveland, New York and Tampa Bay. Fully 36 per cent of the Jays’ losses this season — 18 out of 50 — have come on those three sorties. This was a (tough) road trip. The stretch run is upon us and the ugly road trips have to stay in the past.
