Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman and centre fielder Kevin Pillar snagged Gold Glove award nominations on Thursday. Stroman and Pillar were among the three finalists chosen for fielding excellence at each position in the AL and NL, with the winners to be announced Nov. 7. “Gold Glove Finalist. Lorenzo Cain of the Royals and Byron Buxton of the Twins are the other AL centre-field contenders. Atlanta knuckleballer R.A. Dickey, the last Jay to win a Gold Glove in 2013, was nominated again in the NL.
