Blue Jays' Gibbons coy on Teoscar Hernandez situation

Blue Jays manager John Gibbons was fencing with the media when pressed about what he was going to do with outfielder Teoscar Hernandez once DH Kendrys Morales is activated from the disabled list on Friday. With four veteran outfielders already on the Jays roster and a permanent DH back from injury (Morales), on paper Hernandez seems to be the odd man out. But the fly in the ointment is that Hernandez is playing so well, the Jays would be foolhardy to send him back to triple-A Buffalo. I don’t think he has any more to prove in triple-A.”Once Morales is back, Gibbons will have five outfielders and a full-time DH. “Probably not, but you never know.”“I don’t know how it’s all going to shake out,” Gibbons continued.
