Instead, PDP is now a "collaborator" for "fascist RSS-governed BJP", Karra said at a presser at his residence in Shivpora on Thursday.Accusing the coalition for what he called "brutalities" in Kashmir, Karra said his "head hangs in shame" and he can no longer stay with PDP. In his election affidavit, he had declared assets worth over Rs 100 crore. As finance minister in the Mufti-led coalition in 2006, he had suggested a separate currency for J&K under "self-rule".Differences with the PDP brass, he said, developed over several issues including BJP's failure to fulfil promises made in the agenda of alliance. He said PDP had backtracked from all its commitments towards protection of human rights and revocation of AFSPA and Public Safety Act.With Karra's resignation, PDP has relinquished its second Lok Sabhs seat, the first being Anantnag which Mehbooba vacated to contest elections after becoming chief minister following her father Mufti Mohammed Sayeed's death early this year.
