Between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on Thursday, Johnson Sakaja will be sworn in as Nairobi’s fourth Governor. The event, which is set to begin at 9:00 am, will have guests seated as they get entertained by the Nairobi city county choir at KICC. Justice Roselyne Aburili and assisted by magistrate Caroline Kabucho will administer the oath of office to Sakaja and his deputy, Njoroge Muchiri. In addition to this, the judge will also administer the signing of the integrity document to the duo. Sakaja at this point can choose to give his speech or not, including the guests.
