SAILOR, James Allen “Jimmy” James Allen Sailor, “Jimmy”, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, (September 26, 2007) at his home in Bloomfield. Born in East Granby, James was the son of the late James Andrew Sailor and Annie (Gay) Sailor. He lived in Hartford for most of his life, graduated from Weaver High School and raised all seven of his siblings. Janet Copeland of Bloomfield, and his son David took extraordinary care of Jimmy during his last days as he valiantly battled Alzheimer’s. He will be affectionately remembered by six children: James Sailor of Willimantic and his wife Joann, David Sailor of Bloomfield, Michael Sailor of Hartford and his wife Deborah, Steven Sailor of Hartford, Amy Sailor of Hartford, Rebecca Sailor Williams of Bloomfield and her husband Jeffrey; a sister, Dorothy Smith of Windsor; two brothers: Robert Sailor of Upper Marlboro, MD and Richard Sailor of San Jose, CA.
