Online activist, Writer and Blogger Avijit Roy CollectedThe charge sheet was sent to the Home Ministry for approvalThe Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Police has finalized the charge sheet accusing six people over the murder of US-based Bangladeshi blogger Avijit Roy. CTTC unit Chief Monirul Islam, at a press briefing, said the charge sheet was sent to the Home Ministry for approval, on Monday. Five other accused are: Abu Siddique Sohel alias Shakib alias Sazid, Mozammel Hossain alias Saimon, Shafiur Rahman Farabi, Akram Hossain Abir alias Adnan, and Arafat Rahman Siam alias Sazzad. CTTC Chief Monirul also said a supplementary charge sheet will be submitted once the names and addresses of the rest five people are confirmed. On February 26, 2015, blogger Avijit Roy was murdered near the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) of Dhaka University by then-unidentified assailants.
