The Blackhawks were starting to spend too much time in their defensive end in the second period and it caught up with them quickly. The Blackhawks allowed more shots on goal in the second period (16) than they had in 40 minutes (15). Unfortunately, Scott Wedgewood was marvelous for Dallas — especially on a Blackhawks’ power play in the middle of the third period. And the Blackhawks never quit — and got a tying goal on a late power play. Star(s) 3: Cole Guttman and Tyler JohnsonGuttman scored Chicago’s second goal and added an assist on Dickinson’s goal.
