There have been several calls to ‘act now’ following the continuous killings of blacks in communities that are divided by race. The recent protest in America comes in days after the brutal murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, by some white police officers in Minneapolis. With hashtags, #BlackLivesMatter and #BlackOutTuesday persons across all walks of life are seeking for peace and equity in communities where blacks face discrimination. Owner of Glitz Africa, Claudia Lumor wrote, "I don't need to be a black American to feel their pain!
