The much-anticipated solo spin-off for Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) is coming to cinema screens as the Marvel Cinematic Universe enters Phase Four. A Twitter user shared a social media claim that Bucky Barnes actor Sebastian Stan commented that the film will take place after the events of the film Captain America: Civil War. Until confirmed by Stan or footage suggests he actually said this, we will take this with a pinch of salt. However, it would make sense logistically as it wouldn't require any de-ageing effects to be applied to Scarlett Johansson, whilst also filling in the time when she was on the run after switching sides to Captain America from Iron Man in Civil War. In the meantime, we are still reeling from Widow's story arc in Avengers: Endgame, which the film's directors explained in more detail here.
