The Emir of Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State, Mallam Zubairu Jibrin Maigwari ll, has said 58 bodies were buried during the recent attack in Gwaska village in his emirate. This was even as he counselled his subjects to remain calm and law abiding. Speaking in an interview on Monday on the recent attack, the monarch disclosed that the recent attack was “senseless and barbaric.”Explaining further, he disclosed that 58 bodies were brought to the palace where funeral prayers were conducted for them. The Emir while expressing his sadness over the loss of lives in his domain asked his subjects to remain calm and law abiding. He told his subjects to commit everything to Almighty God, saying, “God will usually intervene in the woes bedevilling his emirate.
