From the Tribune staff reportsBIRMINGHAM – A Birmingham man was stabbed and killed early Wednesday morning in an apparent assault. At around 1:30 a.m. officers were at the Food Mart located at 2258 Bessemer Road responding to another call when the victim arrived on scene requesting help and suffering from a stab wound. Bimringham Fire and Rescue rushed the victim to UAB where UAB hospital staff pronounced the victim dead. Anyone with information pertaining to the case can contact the B.P.D.
