The DC comics movie Birds Of Prey enjoyed a somewhat healthy opening night on Thursday, with cinemagoers flocking to the film as it is the only brand-new release this weekend, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The flick, whose lengthy full title is Birds Of Prey: And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn, took in $4 million on Thursday, tracking to post a $45m to $50m-plus opening over the weekend. Birds Of Prey currently sits at a health 84 percent on meta review site Rotten Tomatoes, with an audience score of 88 percent. Birds Of Prey, directed by Cathy Yan, is in theaters everywhere as of Friday.
