This young red-billed gull would probably not have survived had it not been rescued from a dangerous situation. A number of red-billed gulls were nesting on ocean-going yacht that had been moored in a bay for many months. They had found it to be a good nesting site. This type of diet is actually what red-billed gulls live on. It will be noticed that this red-billed gull has brownish legs and bill.
