The woman Asma, Rohingya ID – 14320171213154415 of the Teknaf Rohingya camp, introduced herself as Jannat Akhter, a permanent resident of the Dighinala union of the Shaturia upazila, at the Manikganj regional passport office on Wednesday. “A man named Rezaul Karim came to our office to make a passport for a woman (Asma), whom he identified as his wife,” Passport Office Assistant Director (AD) Maksudur Rahman told Dhaka Tribune. Later, she was detained at the passport office and handed over to the Manikganj Sadar police station. At the passport office, Asma was accompanied by Rezaul and his real wife and daughter,” Manikganj Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Rakibuzzaman said.
