Passengers of cancelled flights would be allotted seats on a priority basis subject to seat vacancy after a resumption of flights, said Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager (public relations) of Biman, in a press release on Monday. Biman Bangladesh Airlines also suspended all its flights bound for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for a week as the kingdom government imposed a ban on all international commercial flights due to the coronavirus pandemic. There is one flight a week between Bangladesh and the UK, while several foreign carriers ferry passengers via different cities. It may be recalled that on June 16, flight operations on international routes from Bangladesh resumed after over two months of suspension.
