Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended its Wednesday flight to Nepal until 2pm due to security concerns and ongoing flight restrictions imposed by the Nepalese government. The airline announced the decision in a media statement on Tuesday night. The statement read, “In light of current restrictions and as a precautionary measure, it has been decided to suspend the Dhaka–Kathmandu route flight until 2pm on the 10th of September. That plan has now changed. If the airport reopens after noon, a decision will be made regarding the resumption of flights.”Passengers travelling to Nepal are advised to contact the airline’s call centre at 13636 or +8809610913636 between 8am and 8:30pm for the latest flight information.
