The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has filed a case for the attempted hijacking of a Bangladesh Biman Airlines aircraft. According to the case statements, passengers and cabin crew members of the Biman flight saw the suspect was carrying firearms and a bomb-like substance when he tried to hijack the aircraft. The case statements also said that the suspect exploded two cracker-like substances during the hijacking attempt. Also Read- Biman hijack: Was the suspect carrying a toy gun? According to the passenger records of the flight, Palash booked a Dhaka-Chittagong flight on the plane.
