SportThe living legend of Sri Lanka Billiards, K.H. Sirisoma won the National Championship for the 25th occasion, defending his title after overcoming S.H.M. Sirisoma, 62, of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) was given a tough start by Aslam of Moors SC (MSC) but the defending champion bounced back well to stamp his class in the final of the 64th National Billiards Champion. In the semi-finals Sirisoma defeated Susantha Wickrama of Sri Lanka Army by 5 frames to 1 while Aslam received a walkover from K. Devapura of Galle SC. Both finalists Sirisoma and Aslam have virtually qualified to play at the World Billiards Championship which will be held from December 5 to 10 in India.
