KARACHI: The Sindh Injured Persons Compulsory Medical Treatment Bill 2019, which has been named after Amal Umer, was introduced in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on Thursday, Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) in observed in its daily factsheet. The bill was introduced by the Minister for Health after which the House referred it to a Selection Committee. Moved by an MMAP lawmaker, the House adopted a resolution recommending the provincial government to make a master plan for Lyari’s Infrastructure. Moved by a PPPP lawmaker, the House adopted a resolution recommending the provincial government to regularise all villages and give ownership of the land to people living there. An Adjournment Motion of PPPP lawmaker regarding effects of poisonous water of Punjab’s industries on lands in Ghotki and Sukkur lapsed due to the absence of mover.
