2017 Suzi PrattBillionaire philanthropist Bill Gates will lace up his tennis shoes this Friday for the “Match in Africa,” an exhibition match in Cape Town, South Africa. Gates also played in the 2017 “Match for Africa'' in Seattle, which raised over $2 million for Federer’s foundation. The arena, which seats just over 50,000 people, will also attempt to set a new world record for the most spectators to watch a tennis match. It is currently running School Readiness Initiatives in Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Switzerland. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has also provided funding to Federer’s foundation to support the two previous Match for Africa events in the US.
