Bill Cosby this week arrived at a settlement with several women who had accused the disgraced comedian of defaming them when he said their sexual misconduct allegations where not true. According to court documents filed on Friday in Springfield, Mass., the 81-year-old comedian negotiated a confidential settlement with seven women, including Tamara Green, Therese Serignese and Barbara Bowman, who say Cosby defamed them when he called them liars after they publicly accused him of sexual assaut. BILL COSBY CALLS PRISON ‘AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE,’ SPOKESMAN SAYSJoseph Cammarata, the attorney representing the women, said that while his clients are “satisfied with the settlement,” he will continue to depose Cosby if he does not drop his countersuits. Cosby's wife, Camille, had been ordered to give a deposition in the case in 2016, after a heated court fight over her testimony. The judge agreed that marital conversations were private, but the women's lawyers noted she also served as his business manager throughout their long marriage.
