Bill Clinton has conquered at least one hurdle on the path to a potential first gentlemanship — the cookie competition. With the help of his wife Hillary Clinton’s chocolate chip oatmeal cookie recipe, Bill Clinton won the 2016 Presidential Cookie Cookie Poll hosted by Family Circle magazine. He beat Donald Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, and her star-shaped sugar cookie recipe 1,623 votes to 535, according to the poll results released Oct. 7. During the first competition in 1992, the Clinton family recipe also won against Barbara Bush's, and then again in 1996 against Elizabeth Dole's. "I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas," she said during the 1992 campaign.
