As the saying goes ‘action­s speak louder than words’KARACHI: The article written by Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto in The Guardian two days ago about the bravado of his mother, Benazir Bhutto, shows his and his party’s double standards. In the article, Bilawal talks highly of his mother, which is indeed true as Benazir was a force to be reckoned with. However, his talk of women’s empowerment and pretentious progressiveness falls short when compared to the ground realities as regards women in Sindh. As the saying goes ‘actions speak louder than words’, the PPP has failed to deliver anything positive in the past eight years in Sindh.
