An angry mob set fire to a microbus carrying four policemen in Balutupa area of Comilla Friday morning alleging that the vehicle chased down a motorcyclist and killed him. “The youth was killed after he lost control of the motorcycle and hit a roadside tree. The four policemen chased him as he refused to stop when asked,” Additional Police Superintendent Abdullah Al Manun claimed. The body of the unidentified youth was recovered by the police from a roadside field around 9am. According to witnesses, the microbus was chasing the youth for around 1km and hit the motorcycle on reaching Balutupa area.
