ISKANDAR PUTERI: A factory operator sustained injuries after he was beaten up by a group of men following an altercation at Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar (KSAB) at the Second Link in Tanjung Kupang here. "When the victim and his friend arrived at Tanjung Kupang toll plaza, they were stopped by 10 men. ACP Dzulkhairi added that the other suspects then joined in and hit the victim, but left his friend alone. He said the victim sustained a swollen lip and a bruised forehead, and received medical treatment at Gelang Patah health clinic before lodging a police report at 7.28pm. "Investigations showed that the victim and one of the suspects were involved in a heated argument while coming out of the Customs post at KSAB," he added.
