Three candidates from the coalition will compete under the ‘boat’ symbol. The ‘boat’ symbol candidates are -- Bikalpadhara’s MA Mannan (Lakshmipur-4), Mahi B Chowdhury (Munshiganj-1) and OFM Shaheen (Moulvibazar-2). On Monday, it was announced in a statement approved by Jukto Front chief coordinator Golam Sarwar Milon that 20 candidates of Bikalpadhara will take part in the election on the ‘winnowing-fan’ symbol. Bikalpadhara Presidium Member Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and Golam Sarwar Milon will contest from Sylhet-6 and Manikganj-2 seats. Bikalpadhara Presidium Member HM Golam Reza will run from Satkhira-4, BLDP ally M Nazimuddin Al Azad from Jashore-4 and Shahed Sarwar from Cox’s Bazar-2.
