PM @narendramodi undertook an aerial survey to take stock of the situation arising due to the floods in Bihar. This was the PM's first visit to Bihar after the formation of the JD(U)-BJP government on July 27. "The PM promised all possible support to the Bihar government," a PMO statement said. Modi said the Centre would also send its team to evaluate the damage and asked the state to submit a detailed report of the memorandum of demands. UPA had given Rs 1,100 crore to Bihar in 2008.
