(File photo)South Canterbury is scheduled to send its biggest contingent yet to the world inline speed skating championships in South America in September. “There were several skaters who missed out on their first opportunity to go to the world championships last year because of Covid-19, so I’m hopeful it’s held this year. “It really makes sense after our efforts at the nationals and the Bank Track championships,” Begg said. Of the 10 events, Nevin and Green each won four of the events, with time trial sprint specialist Benson winning the other two.
