Still, we can at least find solace in how good Zoom calls are. After all, poor image and sound quality on Zoom calls is annoying but also hardly the only problem facing people on a day-to-day basis. Meanwhile, big tech has its eyes focused on the future. To put it one way, while millions struggle with the problem of information and tech overload, big digital companies are working on ways to make that problem worse. Big tech needs new revenue streams, both to keep growing but also fend off competition from disrupters.
