CLEVELAND - Early in training camp, Indians slugger Franmil Reyes overheard one of the team’s clubhouse attendants who was cleaning baseballs comment that they didn’t seem as lively this year. “And in his ear I was like, ‘Let’s see when Franmil hit it, let’s see how far it goes.’”Reyes laughed and broke into a big smile — as big as his swing. “That was a real good swing,” Indians manager Terry Francona said. “It really don’t matter.”While he’s put the scoreboard at Progressive Field in his sights, Reyes hasn’t set any statistical goals for this season. “I do think if he stays with the-middle-of-the-field approach, it doesn’t mean he has to hit it in the middle of the field,” Francona said.
