Five members of parliament who belong to the ODM party were on Wednesday ousted from being members of the Azimio affiliated party. The National executive council (NEC) instructed the party to kick out the five lawmakers from the party's register.They have been ousted from ODM for allegedly advancing the interests of rival outfits. The five lawmakers are Elisha Ochieng’ Odhiambo (Gem), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Tom Ojienda (Senator of Kisumu County) and Phelix Odiwuor Kodhe (Lang’ata). The star reports that according to the ODM constitution, a disciplinary process can lead to either reprimanding the member, censuring or fining the member.
