Another week, another pickle for food delivery. And this meal isn’t likely to be one that any investor will relish. Grubhub, which has been in merger talks with Uber Technologies, announced Wednesday afternoon that it will combine with European food-delivery conglomerate Just Eat Takeaway.com. The Wall Street Journal had reported earlier Wednesday that the two were close to striking an all-stock deal after Uber reportedly developed cold feet over the potential for resistance from regulators.
