New Delhi, Sept. 27: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has called a meeting with operators on September 30 to discuss tariffs. Some telecom service companies had written to us alleging that Reliance Jio has violated some (tariff) order. Jio has alleged that existing telecom firms are not providing enough interconnect points, leading to call failures and defective network quality. Bharti Airtel today blamed Reliance Jio for connectivity problems and call drops, a charge denied by Jio. Hitting back at Airtel's allegations, Reliance Jio today said it had given projections of its required number of PoIs to the rival three months in advance.
