LEGAZPI CITY – A healthcare facility employee contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Naga City, Camarines Sur, a day before the transition from Enhanced Community Quarantine to General Community Quarantine. The Department of Health (DOH) Bicol regional office said the 43-year-old patient works at a COVID-19 ward and is the 39th confirmed case in the region. ADVERTISEMENTThe patient is the eighth COVID-19 case in Camarines Sur and the sixth in Naga City. “She is asymptomatic and was swabbed on April 27 (Monday),” according to DOH – Bicol. Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion said that the patient is a custodian at the hospital.
