LEGAZPI CITY –– A suspected member of a gun-for-hire group, and one of the most wanted persons in the Bicol region, was killed in a police operation in Bato, Camarines Sur Thursday. Col. Bernardo Perez, Camarines Sur police director, reported that Rico Gerobin, the seventh most wanted person in the region, was about to be arrested for murder and attempted murder charges at 5:15 a.m. in Barangay Buluang when he fired at the police and tried to escape.
