Dr Lotay left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a Druk Air flight at 9:25 am on Monday, reports BSS. Dr Lotay, who is an alumnus of Mymensingh Medical College, made his maiden visit at the invitation of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, after taking his office as Bhutan's prime minister last year. The Bhutanese premier also called on Bangladesh President Md Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban and attended a banquet dinner hosted by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The Bhutanese prime minister also joined one of the Bangali New Year celebration programs to greet the countrymen in the capital.
