Army has formulated a new strategy to de-radicalise stone pelters and ring leaders of stone pelting groups, particularly in south Kashmir. The Army has proposed a Bharat Darshan for stone pelters and trouble-makers. The plan is to identify these stone-pelting youths and take them on a tour of India to help them know what the real India is all about. These visits would include trips to Tata and Infosys to help the youths know about India's growth story, visits to places of worship to show how all religions peacefully co-exist in India. The Army will also intensify professional training classes for such youths.
