President Pranab Mukherjee with West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, state governor K.N. Tripathi, state finance minister Amit Mitra, industries minister of Bangladesh Amir Hossain Amu and others during the inauguration of the Bengal Global Business Summit in Kolkata on Friday. They briefly stopped the state’s power minister Sovandeb Chattopadhyay from leaving the venue. While the protestors disrupted traffic, chief minister Mamata Banerjee and finance minister Amit Mitra were addressing a session on start-ups. The chief minister didn’t spare the opportunity to speak out against demonetisation again while warning people that plastic money was vulnerable to cyber frauds.
