Master director from Iran, Majid Majidi, has placed his bets on two Indian actors, Ishan Khatter and Malvika Mohanan, for his new film Beyond The Clouds. The Hindi trailer of the film is out now and it’s 2:15-minutes of intense fun. He holds Malvika’s Tara in high regard, but things turn upside down when Tara gets arrested for a crime she hasn’t committed. Some may find similarities between Beyond The Clouds and Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire, but the difference lies in Majidi’s soft touch. Also, the subdued colours give the trailer a distinct touch, unlike Slumdog Millionaire that used a yellow tinge to demonstrate the theme of a tough Mumbai.
