Beware of thugs posing as multi-agency teams tracing Covid-19 casesPolice have warned of thugs masquerading as part of multi-agency teams coordinating activities of the coronavirus pandemic fight in the country. This follows reports that homes had been invaded and attacked by thugs posing as teams from the multi-agency team. Other officials said the multi-agency teams have done much groundwork in tracing many primary agents of the spread. The multi-agency team comprises officials from the ministry of health, police, intelligence, immigration, military and ambulance service providers. The co-ordination team is backed by four other teams which include County Government Co-ordination and Food Supply Committee, National Emergency Response Committee, National Economic and Business Response Committee, and Security Preparedness and Response Committee.
