Despite the vaccination programme the virus is still widespread with more than 25,000 new cases a day being reported in England. It would be better to be safe than sorry, even if that means a few more weeks of restrictions. That is why the Mirror is campaigning with the RSPCA for animal welfare to be taught on the school curriculum.
