O’Rourke told the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday that he has decided not to run for U.S. Senate in 2020. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) in recent weeks has been encouraging O’Rourke to run against Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex).
