Experts at AA Cars looked at what was on offer on the used car market across the UK, then worked out the best place to buy when you combine price, age and mileage. In Stirling, the average used car sells for £11,320, has an average mileage of 25,750 and is around four years old - meaning the cars are younger, driven less and are cheaper than average. AA Cars found London had the highest number of second hand cars with automatic transmissions, with 48.7% of the second-hand cars in the capital automatic. Sheffield was found to have the most SUVs while Bury had the most used luxury car sales.
