'Best bros:' First Nation mourns three boys hit by vehicle in northern Manitoba

— A small, tight-knit northern Manitoba First Nation was in mourning Monday after three boys who loved to play together and go ice fishing were struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver. “They were always together, every day,” Curtis Lobster, Keithan’s uncle, said Monday. Sliding, ice fishing, playing like kids.”Lobster said his nephew had been struggling in school after the death of his mother last year. They were really close to my grandsons,” said Marcel Moody, chief of Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, which includes Nelson House. A vigil was planned for Monday night at the spot in the road where the boys died.
