PETALING JAYA: Bersih 2.0 has urged the Election Commission (EC) to come out and provide information about postal voting in GE14. The Coalition of Free and Fair Elections said the EC had to clear the air about the procedures with regards to postal voting and the number of postal voters. Bersih estimates that there are about 250,000 postal voters this time around. Shahrul also wanted the EC to give access to agents of candidates to observe the process of advanced voting, the issuance of postal votes, and the counting of both advanced and postal votes. Apart from the police and armed forces, the new categories for postal voting included civil servants of various government departments and media personnel.
