KUALA LUMPUR: Bersih 2.0 has submitted its proposal on electoral and parliamentary reforms to the Institutional Reform Committee (IRC) for consideration. The group's acting chairman Shahrul Aman Mohd Saari handed over the proposal document to the Committee secretariat at Menara Ilham here at about 10.30am Wednesday. "While work has already begun on the 1MDB issue, there is also an urgent need for electoral reforms to start immediately. Among other things, the proposal calls for a tribunal to remove the seven EC members, and to immediately suspend them in the meantime. The representations are to be submitted to the secretariat at Menara Ilham here before May 28.
